Ken was born in New Jersey but escaped to Florida in 1966. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in (don’t laugh) Political Science. He has lived or worked in a dozen states and currently lives with his family in Central Pennsylvania where he and his wife have a 97 year mortgage, a small garden and two biologically male humans. Ken and his wife have been married 32 years and have two biological male voting age sons that will not stop eating everything in their home and using up all the paper products in their home. He is a passionate advocate for the First and Second Amendments because America’s Future (and his job) depend on it.
You may remember Ken Matthews from WPHT Philadelphia 2010-2018, WHP Harrisburg, PA 2013-2022, of course guest hosting The Rush Limbaugh Program 2107-2021. Most recently Ken launched his short- lived syndicated afternoon radio show that was heard nationally for 17+ minutes.
For more than four decades Ken Matthews has spoken to thousands of people from the airwaves, stage and online. He spent the first 25 years of his radio career as a Top 40 morning show host(B104 Allentown 1991-2006) and was a Motivational Speaker for the DARE, GREAT and MADD youth programs. He’s been recognized by the United States Congress and the DEA for his work with Drug Prevention while partnering with Law Enforcement in several different States. He received the Pennsylvania Highway Safety Award for more than a decade of Child Safety Advocacy.
